Pricing/ Session Requirements

There has been an amendment in the pricing scale!

- Individual tutoring pricing starts at $20/hr

- Group tutoring pricing is also $20/hr (each
member of the group will pay individually, but
group discounts are available).

NOTE: Since pricing has been increased to
$20/hr, the hourly wage will remain the same
regardless of grade/education level, the number
of subjects tutored, or whether or not the client
signs up for in-home tutoring. Also, if the client
would like a graduate student or certified teacher
as a tutor the rate will not increase.

I realize that certain circumstances may not
always allow my clients the ability to pay the
hourly wage increase. Phoenix Tutoring offers a
sliding scale to those who qualify.

NOTE: Consultations are free and will be
conducted at the Good wood public library in
Baton Rouge. Consultations are held on Saturday
afternoons or by appointment.

- Payments are due a month in advance. Under
certain circumstances, daily or  weekly
payments will be permitted. However, for daily
payments, the full amount will be due before the
session begins. Weekly payments will be due at
the beginning of each week.

- As of May 2007, clients will be asked to sign- up
for a least 4 months of tutoring. Parents who
would like to request a shorter term, must submit
a letter to stating why they would like to opt out
of the 4 minimum term.

- Clients must agree to a minimum  of  2 hours per
week. A client may request a maximum number
of hours  10.

- Sessions may be a maximum of 2 hours long for
individual tutoring & a max of 3 and a half hours
for group tutoring.

Remember: Library group tutoring is limited to 8
students while in- home group tutoring is limited
to 3 students.

- Students
must bring homework to every session
as well as any other materials
requested by the tutor.

- Rules for submitting a paper to be edited may be
requested by emailing
Cassidy.Lee@phoenix-tutoring.com or filling out the
information form on the contact us page.

- The fee for paper editing is based on: grade/
education level, the length of the paper, and the
paper's deadline. If more than one paper is
submitted, the student will be charged for each
individual paper.

NOTE: Students who use our editing service on a
regular basis will receive a 15% discount.
